It’s a fake!

shadowhiveSo I missed yesterday of the July posting, oops. I did mean to do a post since I saw Spider-Man but I just got so tired, oops.
Other things first though. Heather’s trip is all booked now, so she’s coming in November for just over a week. The place we’ll be staying is fairly central and I know where it is, so getting to the places we’re going to go to will be fairly easy. Which is good! It also has free WiFi which is a plus. Dunno if i5 has a DVD player though or if I’ll have to bring my laptop.
I’ve not watched too much the last few nights, just a pair of Lucifer eps. I’ve not gamed which either though last night I did go on Stardew Valley after a long break. It was the time of the Luau and I worried I’d not have anything to add and then boom! There was stuff that had grown right outside that could give me a good rating, so I tossed some grapes in the potluck and did a few more days in the game.
Anyway, so yesterday we went out to see Spider-Man Fat From Home. It was a fairly wet day so we didn’t go in many places, just Poundland, then Asda and home bargains on the way home.
Anyway thoughts on the film under the cut.
I loved Homecoming so I was looking forward to it. The events of Endgame off course loomed large in places (the snap being called the blip, the memorial video at the start which was a sweet touch) but of course the main thing was Tony’s passing. In a way, Far From Home is as much about Tony’s legacy as it was about Spider-Man. Tony leaves a complicated legacy, of course he did a lot of good but some choices are questionable. First there’s giving Peter those glasses in the first place (far too much power of him to have) and then there’s all the people he screwed over becoming Mysterio’s team.
Speaking of, I really hoped that Mysterio would be a good guy but alas, it wasn’t to be. Turned out everything about him was fake, which seemed very appropriate. (In fact even his death seemed like it might be fake, from the footage in the mid credits scene.) Speaking of, getting JJ back was a nice touch even though Peter is surely screwed now. The end credits one explained why there was a mention of Kree from Fury, although where is he now? I guess we’ll see.
I did wish there was more Ned and Peter interaction, since I think Ned’s such a cutie and their relationship in the first one was something I loved.
Anyway, today I’m gonna watch the Macra Terror and try and write some later. I do wanna write a Kliego with bottom Diego soon. Someone has been leaving rude anon comments to people that have wrote it, which really grinds my gears! Why are people such entitled rude assholes now? It pisses me off so much.
It’s such a shame that Cameron Boyce has died. He was so young and I enjoyed him in Descendants. It’s just so sad.
Next week I’m not not sure what I’m gonna be doing, though I do wanna go on some games, read more and, tomorrow, get the next uni course sorted
