I do like the soulmate trope, and it makes a lot of sense the umbrellas would have been tattoed over them to hide the marks.
The fact I didn't know how Rincon is didn't matter at all, you made them work.
His heart always was big, something their cruel excuse for a father had tried to beat out of him, so it felt right that he would have two soulmates instead of just one.
