Dreaming...

So Dreamboy just posted a mini thing. It’s six minutes long and it starts with an announcement of the next episode (next Tuesday) and then they played a compilation of stuff people sent in. (I missed the call but I’d never sent my voice in anyways so...) They’d asked for people to give their dreams for 2019. Some are random (including one hoping the old gods will rise and destroy the world) but most are pretty deep, including self acceptance and coming up out.

So I figure I may as well do a post of dreams for 2019.

I dream...

That I will somehow finish this uni course, despite this project of doom.

That I will survive March 2018.

That I will go to more gigs.

That more bands tour.

That my writing spark doesn’t leave me.

That we find out what happened with Jay.

That I find the courage to ask Mathew out.

That no one else abandons me.

That I manage to complete games.

That I watch more stuff.

That the Umbrella Academy series sparks a fandom (and gets more seasons confirmed)

That I don’t manage to screw things up

That the local cinema does a midnight showing of Episode IX.

That Disney XD gets it’s shit together and puts Resistance on.

That I can love myself better, or even like myself.

That Adam Lambert does a solo tour.

That I read more books (and graphic novels).

That 2019 ends up being better than 2018.

...and yeah maybe if old gods could rise that might be pretty cool, just not destroy everything ok?

These are all lovely dreams - and you're working towards some of them, too (if Adam does tour again, he can pick a week where I don't need to travel anywhere - he always brings the disasters with volcanoes and ice-pocalypses)

My dream is pretty basic - that can keep on the even keel I've found myself and all my wee adulting plans work out okay despite the world in general falling down a bit of a hole.
