Swim back to shore

shadowhiveYesterday wasn’t too eventful in the daylight part, other than Jay posting a clip (ahhh!) and it was mostly just a lazy Sunday.
I did watch the first of the new Nailed it eps, which was fun! It always makes me laugh. And Wes is cute. Then I did a Dead By Daylight match and escaped as Steve which was good.
The match ended just before the stream of the gig was due to start, though the gig itself didn’t start for another 15-20 minutes. I dunno if that was planned (to give people time to join) or if it was accidental. I didn’t know who would be first. And it turned out to be The Used. They had a nice stage prop in the background, which was of the hanging heart which was lit up and pretty. The lighting was all kinda purplely, which was both nice and not the best. The sound was great and there were no issues with the stream which was good, especially since it’s supposedly just a live watch.
Bert was so cute, but also chaotic, saying how The Used was and always would be an emo band, doing random soliloquies and doing a good job of interacting with the crowd and the stream. He also gave a shout out for Jepha’s twitch which was cute. The set was mostly older stuff which was kinda a surprise. There was only one or two songs from Heartwork which I thought they’d have done more of especially since they hadn’t been able to do anything for it.
There was a bit of time between them and Coheed And Cambria. They played a decently long set, though I wish I’d listened to them more recently so their songs were more in my head. I liked their logo thing (a triangle and some circles) that was on a banner in the background. And of course Claudio was Unf with his epic curls (and you know me and curls) so I so need to fic him again, likely for kinktober. There seemed to be less interaction, but what there was was pretty nice, with them being overwhelmed cause the venue was one they used to go to and it was a home show for them.
Of course with two bands it ended late, around 4am so I’ve been a bit tired and might have an earlier night tonight.
Today hasn’t been too exciting. I did watch Only Murders In The Building and the Chris and Meg thing from last night. Most of tonight has been the annoyance of attempting to update my pad which my pad didn’t want to do for whatever reason (then decided to do just as Maxx’s stream started).
Although bleh, I realised that it’s now a month till my birthday which is bleh.
Tomorrow food shop is coming, so I might fic some while waiting. And then there’s the new bake off starting yay!
