Song Saturday - Set It Off

So a few days back Set It Off updated their elsewhere site with a new 8Bit song, which turned out to be Projector. On Thursday they posted a mysterious post with Friday’s date on. At midnight Projector went live on Spotify, and later in the day this video for it got put up.
(I dunno if the plan was to always release it Friday since it’s on the tour set list or if it was bought forward to make up for the postponements)
At the same time the album details got released and it’s called Elsewhere (which I thought it would be) and there was a signed alternate version on the rock sound site… which of course went within hours when I couldn’t get it (ugh) hopefully they add more but it’s further annoyance.
Anyway, the video picks up sometime after Skeleton, so is in the same wild, colourful world. And it’s interesting that there’s a strange guy thing with claws that can seemingly remote control the boys.
However, it does feel like there’s a missed opportunity there. One of the lyrics is ‘so eat me up like hannibal lector’ and they don’t include or imply cannibalism? Or even eat? Boo
I think it’s a song that needs to grow on me a bit. It’s not as immediately catchy as Skeleton is, though Skeleton is such a strong song it’s hard to compete with it really.

I’m a bit annoyed at myself. The other night I was watching Archive 81 and then I reached for the Xbox controller… and I knocked one of the Lego minecraft axolotls off. And I can’t seem to find where it’s gone. I’ve had a decent look, both Thursday and tonight and I can’t seem to find where it’s gone. It’s so sad cause it’s so cute and was just giving on the reef.
And then this morning I was trying to do uni stuff and there was noises outside from some kind of machinery which was annoying. (And missing out on Set It Off’s signed album was just… another ugh)
I’ve still not watched Creature From The Pit either. I keep meaning to finish the last special features on City Of Death, but I know it’s a big one that’s at least an hour and my focus seems to be all off again, which is another annoyance.
On a plus, there’s been a few good streams, with Wilbur doing one (where he milked Technoblade for rabbits feet which was so…) and then today there was Tommy announcing he was moving to Brighton near Wilbur which is so cute. (And Foolish doing a charity stream and having Sam and Punz thirst over him which is just….)
I did miss Techno’s lore tonight causa the timing being off, so hopefully it’ll be uploaded soon. Though I did see the Mumza lore bit which was cute.
I have watched the second ep of Archive 81 and it seems pretty good so far. I might watch the next one tonight or tomorrow.
I also managed to do some Pokemon, including doing the team galactic base and mt coronet, so now I just have the last gym battle to do. And I finished the main quest of Lucky’s Tale, yay!
