This weekend has been fairly uneventful. Mostly in the sense that I’ve been just... so drained. Yesterday afternoon after walking the pup I was so tired and last night my eyes were aching again. I’m not sure if it’s because of the weather, or my anxiety or some combination. Or even something else. But whatever it is, stop that.

It meant I listened to the new Night Vale last night which was so creepy. Ugh mirrors. It does seem that the uk tour is being postponed again. It was t mentioned in the podcast opening specifically, but the site has the dates marked as ‘postponed’ which... I assume means it is. On one side it’s a shame on the other it’s a relief because in all honesty I don’t want to go to Birmingham.

I need to sort new icons at some point, probably when TUA a is done (I still need a Picard one at least) I might have to ditch some that I have but I’m not sure which. We’ll see I guess.

This morning I finished the magnus Archives season 4 and aww the ep started so domestic and talk of good cows, and then it went so so wrong. I dunno when I’m putting the next one on, I’m going through the bonus stuff first so...

This week I’m planning to read more of the Padme book. But there’s also the witchy school thing and mum needs to get her meds (or I have to pick them up, it’s a undecided area there). Plus the library has started back this week, though it’s gonna be a limited service (people can bring books back and pick up ones they got online but can’t actually go in. Plus mums thing is only 2 hours so...) but at least it’ll give me a much needed break which is just something I haven’t had since lockdown started. It’s just been the two of us and, which that’s been ok at times at other times we’ve ended up annoying each other.

But I digress.

Yesterday I ended up watching some more of The Umbrella Academy. I’ve now watched eps 1-6 and I expected tonight I’ll only watch one more which, yeah, it’s much slower than I was with season one but also... drained. Thoughts under the cut.

*It’s taken ages but we finally had a moment of Klaus and Diego together. It’s only been brief but Diego’s hand on Klaus’ neck and also Klaus commenting on how they got sexier

I’m sure there’s more but I’m a tad faily.

I was so excited when our library finally started again 3 weeks ago and I was able to collect 2 books this week. Our branch has only 3 collection sessions each week though.

Aww I might do, it seems to be ok now so I dunno. I’ve also had a headache which I sometimes get in the heat so it might be related to that *hugs* I’m guessing your thing turned out ok in the end?

Yeah, I had a "temporary loss of vision" (i.e. I went blind in the middle of a corridor at uni for like, thirty seconds or so). Ended up having a bajillion tests (bloods, ultrasound, MRI, the works) for them to conclude they had no idea what caused it, and it was probably a blood pressure drop. Hasn't happened since, so figure I'm probably fine!

I hope you feel less drained today! I cut down on my caffeine and drained is the name of the game here. Sigh.

I felt for Diego so often this time, I loved his team zero idea but no one seemed to take him seriously. The guy is screaming out for parental love and just can't seem to get or hold onto it.
