shadowhiveThe past few days have, again, largely been uneventful. I’ve tried to get back in the mindset to uni read in the mornings and I’ve found, since it’s cold, I read better on the pad instead of the book, so that’s what I’ve been doing. I’m still a little behind but I should be able to get back in sync soon. Thankfully the second assessment isn’t until mid-late Jan so that’s good.
On Pokemon I’ve been mostly in the wild area though I did start the championship cup today. I hope to finish it this weekend.
I’ve failed at reading Black Spire which is a shame. I’ve ended up being on Pokemon then when I realise I should read it’s too dark. Damnit. I really wanted to read Resistance Reborn before Episode IX but that seems unlikely. Speaking of, the local cinema has confirmed that it’s gonna do a midnight showing, woo!
I did start writing something a few nights back. We’ll see if it goes anywhere.
I’ve meant to start watching The Dragon Prince in the nights but I got sidetracked by Insert Name Here on Dave and Stardew Valley. I dunno why I went back on it but I’ve finished the night market, got to the bottom of the mine and got the barn construction started (I’d hoped to skip it and get the big barn but alas, no.) I finished the first part of Kashyyyk on Fallen Order and now I’m back on Zeffo, but BD-1 has been upgraded again, yay!
Today has been pretty rough though. I woke up feeling woozy and spent most of the day in bed, dozing and uni reading. And listening to a Magnus Archives but ugh spiders. I did come down though and had soup, which seems to have helped. It’s in my through now which is annoying (and means I can’t take my meds).
Saturday afternoon I’m gonna be alone. Mum has a Marie Curie thing so I’m not sure what I’m gonna do. Maybe game, maybe read, maybe jus5 stick Disney XD on. She’s gonna see if Tesco has the Lego Star Wars advent calendar though since it’s out of stock everywhere which is annoying. It’ll be good if she gets it, though I’m not optimistic. She’s been oddly focused on searching for it today too.
It means the continuation of the Star Wars run will be in the night but we’ll see.
All the Black Friday sales are so annoying since there’s no money till Monday and most of the sales aren’t exciting anyway.

Date: 2019-11-29 02:47 am (UTC)It took me a while to get back to the Dragon Prince, and then we spontaneously watched S2 only a few days before S3 dropped, which given the way S2 ended, I was really glad. The animation just keeps improving, and the story and characters are so lovely. It's a weirdly gentle-and-affecting story, for all the war and tragedy tangled up in it.
