Pokemon power

Saturday night was the new Strictly opening show and I think this is one of those years where I’m ??? about everyone. I know about 4 people and, sadly, one of those is already out due to injury. It’s a shame cause I bet he would’ve been fun.
I also watched the last of the week’s celebrity master chef and I’m so glad Joey went through. I’ve always thought he was a sweetie so I hoped he’d get through, although I didn’t expect him to.
Saturday night I watched Split since it was on 4. James McAvoy was pretty good doing all the personalities, though I can see why people would have issues with it. I’m not sure I’d watch it again though.
I'd found out the uni offers a bursary, though it was tucked away so I had no idea. I printed off and filled in the forms, posting them this morning. I’m not optimistic, it says there’s only 50 places but it’d be nice to have some extra money.
I’d gotten a steampunk ring in the morning which was pretty cool, though I had to take it off to sort the printer and it got broken. It’s not a bad break, just the cogs separating from the ring, so if I can find glue I can fix it.
I started up the Blair Witch game though spent most of my time in the starting area playing the snake game on the mobile. There was an achievement for getting to 40 points so I figured it was best doing it in the one guaranteed safe area. I got a little into the game when I got it, and I hope nothing happens to Bullet. He’s a good boy (and the developers are a+ for letting you pet him).
Sunday was a lazy day really. After lunch I watched muppet Treasure Island then had a doze. Mum made some coconut pyramids and they turned out to be nice. We’ve not had them for ages. They used to be grandads favourite so I think that’s why.
There’s been some more leaks of force Friday stuff and I’m baffled why there’s been no official reveals. These were black series figures and it’s 2 for Fallen Order, two for Mandalorian and three for Episode IX (well two since we new the sith trooper). The figures for the others seem better though.
I did a bit of writing over the weekend and should be at the main bit of it now. It’s felt like it’s took ages to get to it since I got sidetracked but ah well. I also signed up tospook_me too.
Last night, after watching Expedition which was pretty good (although no, I’d not go into unexplored caves that were associated with human sacrifice) I ended up starting Gears 5. I’ve not played the other games really and since there’s a game pass quest for it I figured why not give it a try (plus the pride flags as an option is awesome). It’s pretty good so far. The first place is so pretty, though the ‘previously’ video just makes me wonder why the people don’t try and leave their deathtrap of a planet. I might do more later, after watching Doctor Who (which is the start of the E-Space trilogy).
Before going to bed I watched Pokémon The Power Of Us. It’s unusual for a few reasons. Ash is only and only uses Pikachu, plus there’s a focus on several of the people in the town. I admit, I love Toren. He’s cute, sweet and a ball of nervousness and anxiety. I just wanted to hug him. The film overall was better than I expected it to be too, even though the blu ray disc was bare bones.
Today’s been ugh. Mum’s had to go to the doctor’s over her eyes again and needs drops in it. It’s also meant she’s not going to the library so I’m stuck with her this afternoon, ugh.
I’ve not heard from PayPal about my message, though I’ve juggled the money around so that should solve things. Well, I say solve, I mean delay. We’ll see.
My uni books should be sent now, though again, there’s no tracking or anything. If they come this week I’ll start reading next week so I’m ahead with stuff.
Gonna snuggle now and maybe read after sorting the food shop.
