Yep, it’s another post time!
So, first off they did send people to sort the fridge. They came really early (8:20am) and mum was the one dealing with them this time instead of me (while I held Naryu). They couldn’t get the old one out so it’s still in the kitchen (how did it get there in the first place?) but they not only got the new one in, but got it into place too!
So now that’s sorted and well and truly over. (Mum thinks we can get the old one out through the house but that isn’t something we’re gonna do anytime soon.)
So now onto the good things of the past days.
First off, I really enjoyed Ahsoka though I’m not gonna go into details cause I know the stress will have made me miss things. I am, however, baffled that the Star Wars twitter released a new poster for the series with a spoiler from the very end of the ep. At least give it a few days for people to watch. I also watched Futurama the other day but I think this is the weakest of this series (mainky because of the pandemic theming) but it was nice to see the angry dome again!
Yesterday morning while the power was off I ended up writing…. But starting a new thing instead of finishing the birthday fic or one of the wips. Oop. I just had this clear idea from somewhere and had to write it so… we’ll see if it gets finished before or after the next part of Aqua Regia.
Yesterday, after the stress of everything and mums friend had gone home I finally was able to go on Starfield! I was only able to do about 2-3 hours (a big chunk on character creation). But I managed to finish exploring the first research station, which gives me Resident Evil and Alien vibes (and seriously, are scientists that dumb? Is there no horror films in the future??)
Something odd though. I’d avoided seeing anyone play (despite virtually everyone doing so) and all I’d seen was an hour of Seapeekay playing. I saw him arrive on the moon with the base, then the food shop came and when I came back he was in an underground cave. So when I got to that moon I expected the base to have an underground part to it, but it was all above ground. Did he somehow stumble on something different? Or is the base sometimes above ground or sometimes in a cave?
Taskmaster also has a date, the new series it coming in two weeks! Yay!
Last night I continued the Saw run with Saw V (I really am loving rewatching it, especially with my friend!). As I expected I’d forgotten some of it but bits came back to me as I was watching (including the main game idea just before the participants figured it out. Hopefully we’ll watch VI and 3D next week and I still need to get Jigsaw and Spiral.
Today there was also some other good news. About a month or so ago I noticed lil bumps on Midna’s skin around her neck. I looked it up and a possible thing was bites, so I gave her some treatments and got a new flea collar and it seems to have worked, because I just petted her and the bumps are all gone! I’m so glad!
The rest of the night I’m gonna watch Celebrity Masterchef, Mrs Browns boys and try and watch the new ghost files. I do wanna fic more but we’ll see. I just might end up dozing.
This weekend we’re mostly resting. I only have two things to do, a fridge shop coming tomorrow and Dungeons And Dodongos Sunday. Again I do wanna fic, and there’s also the proms but we’ll see.
Lastly I end this post on this new to me Maxx pic that I’ll icon this weekend because pretty!
