TV tropes - I often look at this site, sometimes randomly but sometimes as I watch things (I currently have ones open for DS9 and Lower Decks and open pages when I watch Who)

AO3 where fic goes to live

Lastly are the various wikis like Wookieepedia, Memory Alpha And the Tardis data core (For Star Wars, Star Trek and Doctor Who respectively). These are useful when watching stuff or even if you are reading a book and thinking ‘where have I heard that thing before?’ Theres wikis for pretty much everything that there is.

The weekend has been pretty quiet and lazy which is good, especially since the end of the week was a bit bleh. (Depression sure is annoying)

On Saturday night I watched The Endless on film 4 which was pretty good. The eldritch abomination was unique in that it was made of smoke and fire rather than anything else. And it’s pretty impressive what they did with quite a small budget.

There was snow which meant we didn’t go anywhere, though Naryu loved running about in the snow outside.

I did finally start Lower Decks last night and it’s funny and fun. I only watched the first two but the references are awesome! I also watched Wandavision which makes me think, again, what is going on.

This morning I did some uni reading cause Naryu was laying on me so I couldn’t grab the laptop, hopefully I can do something tomorrow.

I had a little doze today after reading some and when I woke there was Naryu being a cutie on my head

I love those wikis; I'm only a fan in those areas, but it's great to know they are out there!

Me too! I mostly use them for fan purposes or creative ones but they’re always interesting to look into

KITTY!!! <3 What is it about small animals wanting to sleep directly on one's head? I know that's a dog, but still.

TVTropes is great, but I have to be careful there. I tend to get lost in the clickies. It's a massive timesink that is often fun and fascinating.

Yeah! She’s adorable! And I dunno! It seems to be a Naryu thing. In fact she seems more inclined to cuddle on me when I’m dozing

I went to visit my uncle several years ago, and his cat got into my room while I was sleeping. I woke up with the cat on my face. I rolled over, and like fifteen seconds later--it was back on my face.

Definitely not alone! In fact, it's so common I will post a WARNING: TV TROPES LINK! or something similar if I link to it on one of my meta posts.

Awww that’s so strange! I’ve never had any of my cats do that! Naryu is currently behind mum’s head (draped around her neck) which I think is pretty strange but she does it all the time

Nice! I have two tv tropes pages open now (one for DS9, one for Lower Decks) and I get distracted by some of them as I go through it

Your animals are so cute! Snow! Ours melted a while ago, we got a tiny bit more a few days ago but that melted too. So weird because we usually get more snow than we have this year.

Aww thank you! It’s starting to melt a bit, though mostly from the rain we had today. This is the most snow we’ve had in quite awhile

TV Tropes is such a dangerous place! You're only going to check one little thing and then you emerge five hours later and wonder where the evening went :-D

Fandom wikis are awesome! I couldn't read half as many crossovers as I do without their help.
