Down with the sickness

The past few days have been so exhausting and bleh.

It seems that last week I picked up something from when we went to Birmingham. I wrote it off as tiredness at first (after all it was a long day) but then Thursday my stomach started feeling funny and it got worse from there. Saturday was the worst day though, I spent the whole day in bed, barely able to move and with ragged breathing. I also lost my voice Saturday and it’s not fully come back

A few days I’ve felt like Ive been getting better only to feel worse either at night or when I wake the next day. It really sucks because it’s been so incredibly draining and it’s not helped my already iffy mental state.

I had a feel things I’d planned to do over the last few days but most of them have fallen by the wayside because I’ve not had the focus or energy. (In fact the only thing I’ve done is go on the fortnite update during moments of being ok and I love the new Greek aesthetic)

There have been some good things though.before the sickness kicked in the first Animal Crossing lego order came, so now Julian isn’t alone (I love the lil polybag with Maple) and I did manage to listen to one Who audio (The Story Of Extinction which was pretty good). And I managed to watch two of the tubbathon shows, Saturdays Liar Liar and today’s Recipe for disaster bith of which were fun. And Seapeekay did a 12 hour stream yesterday and I somehow watched most (and won a jackbox game somehow too!)

But yeah my energy is so low so I dunno what the rest of the week is gonna be. I was meant to have a blood test Thursday (but I think it might have toget postponed) and the another appointment is meant to be Friday but I dunno if I’ll go to that either.

But ugh I’m just so incredibly drained

I dunno if you’ve ever been to the O2 institute venue, but if you have it’s a little further than that and then down some backstreets (i think I might still have the directions saved somewhere)

Edit: it shows how unwell I am that I completely misread what you meant and thought it was the other venue😭 that would’ve been nice!

Ah, I don't think we are ever destined to meet in Birmingham when I'm there for a gig, given our track record lol.

And ahah. I actually have been to the Institute many many years ago. But yeah it's the Asylum that you're going to in the future :) it's not a bad venue, not exactly the best and a little out the way, but better than the O2 academy at least lol
