They ended up at the Funeral For A Friend’s dressing room since it was close and thankfully it was empty. As soon as they were inside and the door was locked Darran got down on his knees before him.
His fingers worked to undo his flies, and he did it with such speed and ease that he wondered if he was his band’s designated slut. He didn’t have a chance to answer as he got his dick out, gasping soft as he reached for it, giving it a few strokes to get him to full hardness.
“Wow he wasn’t kidding, you really are packing!” His eyes were wide as he looked at his erection and Brandon blushed again.
“It’s not too big is it? You don’t have to do this if you don’t want…”
“Are you kidding? Sure it’s the biggest I’ve ever seen but I’ll take it as a challenge.” Darran flashed him a grin, licking his lips. “How about you is this ok with you?”
He was caught off guard because he’d never really been asked that before, but there was no hesitation in his mind. “Yeah I want this.”
“Great!” Darran grinned and he opened his mouth taking him into it. The sensation was overwhelming. His mouth was so warm, so wet and his lips felt so good around him. Darran took him halfway into his mouth in one go and he felt him take a breath through his nose.
Darran started to move his head, taking more of him each time he went down. All Brandon could do was watch and it was strangely hot watching him struggle to take him yet be so determined to as well.
After several minutes Darran finally got him fully down his throat, his eyes glistening and drool escaping from his lips. Brandon felt him gag a little around him and he was tempted to push him off, but Darran started to move at a slow and steady pace.
“Fuck…” Brandon whispered, the word stuttering as it left his lips. “You feel so… fuck.”
Darran looked up at him and he flicked his tongue against the underside of his dick, making him gasp in pleasure. It was all so much and he could definitely see why people enjoyed this.
“I… I think I’m close.” He gasped after a few more bobs of his head and Darran squeezed his lips and hummed around him. The vibration was enough to tip him over and he came, crying out his name as he saw stars.
He was panting heavily, his thighs trembling as Darran pulled off him, wiping his mouth with the back of his hand. “Holy shit.” He whispered, grinning up at him. “I hope it was as good for you as it was for me.”
“Yeah that was… fuck.” Brandon couldn’t really think much right now, but he knew that he was definitely going to do that again. “Do you need me to get you off? I’d be happy to return the favour.”
“No, it’s ok.” Darran smiled, getting to his feet shakily. “Not that I don’t want to, but…” Now it was his turn blush. “I came in my trousers while I was sucking you off.”
“Oh!” Brandon felt an odd bit of pride at that. “Well I’m glad, that was amazing thank you.”
“Thank you too.” Darran grinned, tucking Brandon away and doing his flies up. “Now I dunno about you, but I could use a cold drink after that.”

I enjoyed that even though Brandon is fully submissive to Alex, he still seems to be putting on a show...acting like he's enjoying himself even though inside he's kind of dying a little. That kind of makes my heart hurt a little bit. :( But I did notice that Brandon noticed that Matt was exactly the same sort of person as Alex, despite not really spending much time together on the tour. Also the fact he noticed Matt was the same size as Alex so was able to act like he was enjoying himself, as he was a pro at pretending he enjoyed sucking Alex's dick too??

I liked the juxtaposition of Moose (and Padge, later) with Matt. How Moose seemed more appreciative, and was a little more gentle. And how Brandon felt a bit strange when Moose praised him and thanked him, as he wasn't used to ever getting praise. And then how he realised he craved praise despite getting none...poor baby 😭
Side note, I totally clocked that Alex was rougher with Jay than Matt was with Brandon. How Jay's eyes were teary and Brandon felt sorry for him. I kind of almost feel like Brandon feels guilty that Alex abused Jay, as he's usually the one that's getting the abuse and he feels bad that someone else had to experience it whilst he was indisposed, y'know?
Awww the way Brandon and Jay just sort of gravitated to one another and almost blocked out the others in the room despite Matt and Alex jeering. That was cute in a kind of sad way, I'm guessing they both saw themselves in the other?

He knows Brandon has been given the idea and will do anything for him not to act on it huh???
And I guess Brandon was exactly right when it came to Matt being controlling over Jay, in the same way that Alex is controlling over him? I guess when you're familiar with abuse, you can notice it in others too.
The last section was unexpected (kinda like the Jay cameo in the drummer fic!) but it worked soooo well. I think it worked better having someone 'fresh' approach Brandon rather than one of the aforementioned Bullet guys? And happily it seems I can read Darran without being sad :) Love how Darran hunted Brandon out after learning he was big, from Jay :P
Side note, I really enjoyed how Brandon wondered if Darran was FFAF's "dedicated slut", as he knows he is the one for Atreyu (or rather, Alex) and has seen that Jay has been earmarked as the band slut in Bullet, and sees it as "normal" that a band has someone like that. But] FFAF wouldn't be like that, and I've always seen Darran as pretty vers :D So it's interesting he makes the assumption based on his own experiences in bands :)

FFAF have definitely done a fair few festivals with them! Atreyu do quite a few UK fests, and so do FFAF, and their careers sort of align nicely with one another as they were probably both at their biggest around the same time.
Yess, I think it worked perfectly to have a FFAF guy in the mix. A guy who's just there for a bit of fun, who isn't in a band that has a hierarchy or anything! To really make it clear that the Alex/Brandon and Tuck/Jay dynamics are wrong!

Yeah just so I can look at heights! Sometimes post-gig crowd fics are very helpful though :D And yeah, they chose perfectly. He was drumming for Brandon's solo project prior to joining Atreyu, so if he was playing drumlines Brandon had written for his own project, he was surely the perfect choice to "replace" Brandon in Atreyu :P He seems super nice and the guys all love him as well. When they play Bleeding Mascara now, Brandon goes back to playing drums, Marc switches to just being a frontman, and Kyle plays bass for it. I don't think he played bass prior to joining Atreyu so they taught him the bass for that one song so they could all switch about, which is kinda sweet. At the end in Manchester Brandon was so stoked haha, he was like "ladies and gentleman, Kyle Rosa, give him a massive round of applause, isn't he talented?????" which was actually pretty adorable. (But it is kinda funny because I'd say Brandon is the most musically talented in the band as he plays drums, guitar, bass, keys as well as having a voice like that???)

Yep. He was the guy who played for them for that run of shows they did in 2019 when Alex couldn't play the Euro shows due to a slipped disc as well. And he also guested for them at their 20 year anniversary show, he played drums for Ex's and Oh's, whilst Brandon & Alex dual-fronted! And yeah he's like crazy talented. I think quite a few people think he just plays drums but in fact he has always been one of the two main songwriters in Atreyu, so when people accuse them of them not sounding as good when Alex left, they need to check themselves as it's still the same core songwriters, the only difference is that the lyrics are no longer written by a child haha. And oh, what else does Ilan do? :)
