Today has felt like a bit of a mixed day, which I’ll get to.
First off last night I watched the first episode of Wreck after Karen Pirie (the last ep of which tied things up nice and felt an improvement over the middle ep). Wreck was pretty good, it was the first ep so it was a bit setting up and establishing things, but it definitely makes me wanna seee what happens next. The whole series has been put on iplayer, and it’s being put on bbc 3 every Sunday and Monday (though I can’t watch tonight’s so will iplayer it). A second season is being done which I guess means it won’t be fully resolved when it finishes, but I guess we will see.
I am curious if it was actually filmed on a boat or not.
Then there was an irl twitch rivals thing and I ended up watching Foolish because he’s so hot. Him and Punz were teamed together and did pretty well (they were impressive with the cup and ball thing and the blindfolded ring toss). I’m not sure where they came overall but I know they got knocked out.
I did drift off before the end of the stream so I might have to see the end of it. But I did see Karl and Dream were wandering around towards the end which was cute, especially with Dream’s eyepatch.
I woke at around 4ish and headed up to bed, but I couldn’t really settle. I ended up watching some of JawnKs Quarry stream (and starting a fic) but I eventually dozed after the stream finished.
Today, like I said, has been mixed. I finished the uni reading for last week but then this afternoon my head felt funny and I ended up lying down and closing my eyes. It feels a bit better now after taking something for it but… ugh.
Strangely, someone has joined the mcr discord last night but I don’t know who they are. They’ve not said anything yet and I’m not sure where an active link to join is. Hmm. The discord is still dead which is sad but… eh
There’s gonna be some roadworks on one of the nearby roads starting this week which will make getting to the station difficult. I also hope that it doesn’t make too much noise, or that I’m far enough away from the worst of it.
I want to go and see Smile cause it’s only in cinema till Thursday, so I might go there Wednesday night to see it. It’s a night showing and it’ll be a walk (the roadworks will also divert buses which means they’re not an option anyway. But we’ll see.
Me might be going to Birmingham Thursday too, since mums money goes in Wednesday and she wants so to go for a birthday trip (and I still wanna see the museums cinema exhibit before it ends on the end of the month). Again, we’ll see how things go both weather wise and how I feel.
I would’ve gone to the Coheed gig on Saturday, and I was hoping to get a ticket when I last went to Birmingham, but we never went near the venue. I had wanted to go especially as Thrice was support, but when I looked a few weeks ago the tickets are over £40 which I think is a bit much, especially as I’ve not listened to them properly in awhile. If the money had come through I might have considered it, but, I think not now.
Im gonna bundle up now and try and win a squads show on fall guys for the event thing (I keep getting to the last round or losing in the first there is no in between) and then there’s the last twilight zone eps tonight.

I honestly thought the same thing I was so puzzled and confused
I think so too! It’s been so long since I’ve seen a horror film at the cinema (I think the last one I saw was Prometheus which… was forever ago)
I hope you do! There’s a dreamwidth comm that uploads shows and I’ve had it open in a tab just in case they put it up (they often put up uk things) but alas not yet

Smile is on at the Odeon but I'm a wuss who doesn't like horror films so I'm giving it a miss. It's a shame you can't go easily, though.

Awww of course! Strange thing when I was thinking of going to the Nintendo Mario kart thing I looked if it was at the Birmingham odeon but it didn’t seem to be. Our local cinema is tiny so I never expected it to get it (and it’s only showing it for a week) so I’m hopeful to see it as long as there’s no storm
