Semi armed and operational
The past few days have been a mix of good and ugh.
After the last post depression set in again which was very… ugh.
On Tuesday I went with mum to the library, since her friend had a training thing. I ended up reading a short story I got on kindle (it was short, only about 19 pages total) and I read some of the book I took with me. It’s been my first time book reading in awhile and I’m definitely curious to read more (though haven’t yet). It’s called A Test Of Courage and it’s basically a disaster movie in book form. We also took Naryu with us and she was well behaved.
Alas also Tuesday was water works outside. I’d hoped to avoid the worst of it but… nope. The worst was the afternoon and the drilling irritated my head. Thankfully I got some of my headache stuff on the way to the library so that helped. But still
There was a quiz/challenge thing that night with Wilbur which was pretty fun plus it led to him wearing a blindfold which is a+.
Wednesday I had to go and get meds, and alas mums wasn’t there. It was tiring as it always is, but I did get some taffy from tk. And Naryu’s bill is paid off which is a plus.
Rest of the day was uneventful but Ranboo did go live with Billzo and the energy between them is just…
Yesterday I started The Last Jedi on Lego Star Wars and again, it baffles me by having an interior for the Raddus but no ship in game. Maybe they’ll add it and home one in an update but I doubt it somehow.
I did mums cake in the night, but alas it was hard going at first because I forgot the light doesn’t work in there so was struggling finding things. And an egg rolled off and broke. Ugh. But it tastes nice.
Today I had the call from Apple I’d been waiting for and the password is sorted and… it was the right account! So I’ve got everything back phew! Just in time for Star Wars day next week.
I’m heading out in about an hour to the gig. I’ve been a bit nervous about it, part because people, part because the venue is somewhere I’ve not been before and also cause it’s rescheduled I’m worried about the ticket. I even double checked my email to make sure that it had been changed to this.
The gig from last night lists 11 as being the end time but I’m not sure I’ll stay till then if that’s the case. Part cause I dunno the headliners (though I am giving their album a listen now and they seem pretty good) but also because the last train is 11:19 and, since it’s in an unfamiliar place, I don’t wanna leave with less than 20 minutes to get there. The map says it takes 15 minutes to walk there, but the station also has stairs and stuff so… yeah. I might miss the end but that’s ok.
The plan is to go in a few places before making my way to the venue, including looking in the Lego store and maybe getting something from Argos (I’m annoyed that I found they had a May sale after coming back Wednesday… from a place with an argos) but we’ll see. I have enough points on the nectar card to get something for free so…. Ye.
Hopefully I’ll be back around midnight and then can snug. I need to watch a few things on catch up, hopefully this weekend. But there is MCC tomorrow and I’m still not sure if I’m watching Wilbur or Ranboo yet.
