Halloween 1st

The past few days have been largely uneventful. Going out Monday left me drained, though I did manage to read some more of my book. I’m now a over halfway through so that’s good. I‘d hoped to read more over the summer months to clear my book pile but alas, no. I dunno if I’ll read much over autumn cause of the darkness, which was a Fail last year.

Due to being tired I’ve not done as much as I’d hoped. I wanted to finish of Spiritfarer but I’ve not yet. (Though I do have the last spirit, Elena, who seems snooty.) I also thought about started Julie and the phantoms on Netflix but I’ve not done that either, instead watching insert name here on Dave at nights before going to bed.

Yesterday my mood went down and I’m not sure why exactly, which I hate. Maybe it’s because of the time of year, because it’s nan’s birthday Sunday and I tend to miss her around now. Or maybe it’s because how quiet everyone seems to be. Or just general anxiety. More likely all of the above.

I did end up doing the LGBT group quiz yesterday. I didn’t thing I did too well, especially since I missed part of the film quote round due to sorting food, but I had an email today (a general one saying thanks to everyone with the answers) and I’ve won one of the amazon vouchers! So I now have to ponder what I’m gonna get with it.

Today is the first of Halloween, so it was Halloween stuff coming to Animal Crossing. I have one of the new hats, and three recipes (two from going to someone’s island yesterday) and some pumpkins. Yay! I got more today so I need to add them to the patch.

Today I’m gonna watch the smash bros announcement, go on sims 4 and maybe spiritfarer. I should watch a spooky thing later but I’m not sure what. Maybe something short. Plus there’s Deep Space 9 starting tonight.

And yay, in two weeks Taskmaster starts! It’ll be strange seeing it on 4 not Dave but hopefully that’s all that’s changed. (Well unless there’s no audience for some due to the virus)

dw they've done ep screenings for TM s10 so they can grab the audio from those, so no live audience and they're all spaced apart in the studio, but there should be some sort of audience noise. They're doing this for s11 too. From what little I've heard, it's still really good, so. :D And ngl half the time I don't really register the audience as being more than just noise even when they are there, so. I'm hoping it won't take long to adjust. Given we're getting new TM in the middle of a pandemic, I'm willing to forgive them for doing it this way.

Oh that sounds like a good idea! I’m glad they already have s11 lined up too

Yeah, I think it'd have been business as usual without the pandemic, but I'm glad they found a way to get audience reactions, bc I think it'd have been less without that. I think Alex said s11 will be in April, so we've got a way to go with that, but at least that's two series down. :D I'm looking forward to it too, I'm so curious about how it's all going to work and how their dynamic is gonna play out when Greg can't physically touch him anymore. XD

Nope, not long at all, though that's a little relative, given how 2020 has fucked with my perception of time, so. XD tbh if they hadn't done hometasking, I might be less willing to believe their dynamic can deal with no touching, but I think it'll be fine. Greg will just find other ways to fuck with him. :D? And I def believe Alex was experimenting with that in his hometasking vids too, bc he def got more subby as the weeks went on. So I think it'll be fine. I'm hoping it might give me more ideas for long-distance kink fics, if I can see how they'll make it work and riff off it from there.

I'm looking forward to Taskmaster and am glad you know when it starts as I just kept seeing some time in October. I was reading the comments above and it looks like they've dealt with the audience situation well.
