A fondness for fractals
As always this is gonna be a disjointed post.
First health wise. The worst is very much over. I’m just coughing a bit now but nowhere near as much as I did before. (Though a few nights ago I did feel like I might throw up but I didn’t.) I’m gonna try and send cards next week so if anyone wants one dm me,
I finally got my Lego Star Wars advent calendar though we had issues, I’d ordered it from amazon and it said it had been delivered and handed over. However it wasn’t, despite us being here. I thought it just got delivered next door but mum insisted on calling up after it. So we did and a refund got processed. It turned out though it had been ‘delivered’ it was tossed over the wall in the front garden. Thankfully it was fine but if it had rained...
Mum has been a pain. The original plan with Birmingham was we would have gone yesterday but with me being sick that went out the window. So she suggested we go next week. I talked to her (as best I could cause at the time my voice was bad) asking basic questions ie which day will we go and she hit the rough and we had an argument. Then a few days ago she says we shouldn’t go next week citing the money and the concerrn I raised about the days. I just... ugh. We’re gonna try and go after Christmas but I bet we won’t. Not that I mind, not really, but I’d like to see the next Lego shop.
I’ve finished Carmen Sandiego season 2 on netflix and started Final Space (just one ep so far). I’m trying to finish the short series (Final Space, The Good Place, The Dragon Prince) before watching more people Stranger Things.
I’ve got just three films of the Star Wars run to watch, which I should do this weekend. I’m excite for the new film and the new clip was very... ahhh! *grabby hands* Please stay dry for the midnight showing,
I need to get back on Fallen Order. Being sick has meant I’ve not been good at doing it (and I’ve not even touched my book or comics).
Speaking of comics I won the first two Deathwish ones which I’ll read soon. (I’ve won a few things lately, a Worm plushies and a game called Woven the other week which I need to go on more.)
I’ve been on Stardew a fair bit. I’m in the second Summer now and I’ve married Sebastian at last. I also have a duck, a void egg and a barn with a cow. I’ve got all the fruit trees too and my money levels are high so I’m doing pretty well.
I’ve also finished The Magnus Archives season 2 which I ended up listening to while playing Stardew. It’s just an awesome podcast and so creepy. I’ve no idea what’s gonna happen but I hope Martin will be ok.
The Christmas tree is finally up. I bought it down and mum did the decorating (we usually do it together but just getting the tree down and up led me to having a coughing fit which... no).
I’m gonna try and get back to writing properly soon. I’ve not finished anything while I’ve been like this and ugh. It means the Christmas fic I said I’d do will be late, I hope that’s ok.
Today has been a bit eh. I had a late night due to watching the game awards (which wasn’t too special, though the Beaker and Bunsen part was easily the best part! I want Untitled Beaker Game!) Plus waking meant finding out that Boris is pm which is just... baffling. He’s so fucking incompetent and I just hope the tortes don’t fuck the country up (though they will, especially with their ‘get brexit done’ focus, despite it fucking up the country.) it’s just so disheartening.
Anyway, gonna snuggles now and wait for mail which is meant to come.

The election result was terrible and while my town remained under Labour I can't believe that other previously safe Labour seats have turned blue. I never thought I'd see the day when I saw the Tories control any of the coalfields.

Enjoy the Deathwish comics! I got my girlfriend to bring them over in June when she visited, but she's moving to Japan in spring so I'm not yet sure about the next volume. The shipping is so bloody insane from the US.
Sebastian! Awww man. <3 I've never gotten far enough to romance anyone because I'm the most distractable person in the world, and also I didn't want to romance him as a female player character, so it just kind of fell by the wayside. But he's kind of not-so-secretly my fave. (Although lbr with the new update I'm more likely to aim for getting Krobus as my roommate because, well, *points to icon* xD)

I’m so distractable too! I got Stardew as soon as it came to Xbox then... didn’t play it for ages. Now there’s been an update (1.3) I’ve been on it a lot. Sebastian is so cute and pretty. I love him and see a lot of myself in him. Aww yay a Krobus! I recently got access to the sewer and I need to go back to him every Wednesday (I’m a few fish short for the bundles and having trouble getting them but I know he gets them)🖤
