Casually dressed and deep in snuggles
The past few days haven’t been too eventful. I’ve mostly been snuggled and watching stuff, although I have also been listening to a few Magnus archives eps in the mornings and I read a bit.
Magnus Archives manages to always be always be super creepy. Often, though, the creepiness isn’t apparent into the last few minutes, though other times it’s right from the start. If I wasn’t already afraid of spiders the last one would have done it.
Reading wise I’ve read pirate’s price which continues to be funny. I’ve tried to read a chapter a day although today I ended up on the switch instead. (Doing Pokemon and then a bit of Smash.)
Other things. I finished the special features for frontier in space, which featured the first dud features which was just,.. confusing. The rest were good though. I started season 4 of Taskmaster on my rewatch though. I slept early Wednesday cause I just felt so tired. Thursday I started Metro Exodus, for a game pass reward. I’m not sure if I’ll go back to it but it does feel like it has a suitable mystery at its heart. I’ve done some Elder Scrolls Online and, due to a new event, there’s an eso plus trial which means that I can get all the crafting stuff. I took advantage to level up provisioning and enchanting which is good.
The new series of The Flash and Supergirl started this week, which are pretty good so far. Although it has meant I’ve not wrote since I’ve focussed on watching them. As such I’ve not wrote anything which is a bit annoying,
I’ve had deliveries this week. My love sent me two things and they both came this week (though one was due next week it came early. First was a Doctor Who book, the Whoniverse, which has such pretty artwork in it. I need to properly sit and read it because their gorgeous. Second was an Ivysaur Pokemon construx, which is so cute. Third was a book that I’d sent for that wasn’t meant to come till the end of the month. It’s Crash of fate, set at Black Spire (Which is where Galaxy’s edge is). Speaking of that, there’s a cook book themed on it coming which I hope has nice stuff.
It seems the Funeral For A Friend tickets sold out in minutes this morning (and that because of demand at least one venue is being upgraded). Does that mean they will add more dates/cities? I dunno, but I hope so. Because of the announcement of them doing it a few days back I had a dream about my ‘friend’ but the details are... hazy. I kn w it would happen so I’m not too surprised, but eh.
Tomorrow I’ve got the place to myself. Mum has a charity thing so I’m gonna... I dunno. Watch stuff? Read stuff? Game? We’ll see.
Tonight’s plan is mostly to snuggle and watch stuff. Other than that... I dunno

Oh, btw, I can't remember if I mentioned it in any of my posts, but I finally watched Umbrella Academy! And I liked it a lot, although mostly I was frustrated by characters just. not. fucking. communicating! Not sure I'm going to get very fannish about it, though I've checked out a couple of fics and it may go onto my 100 fandoms list just because it's now something I know a canon off and could probably write a few hundred words... Would be Klaus/Diego for sure for me :D

I've been slogging through work hell and the accompanying mental/emotional/physical horribleness, and haven't had spoons for much. Hence the dropping off the face of the earth. But I'm in a better place now, so am trying to regain my internet momentum. I miss y'all!

I thought that was the ep you meant - and wow yeah, it's the perfect blend of mental imbalance and full-out spider creepah. Very well crafted story there.
I started a re-listen of the first season some months ago - that seems like the perfect thing to toss on my iphone for my upcoming trip.
