I do think that's a tricksy June something question, because sometimes it's not a bigger following that you want in a fandom, but a different one. Like, why is there not more of this pairing, or this trope?

Longest fic I ever wrote and finished was in spn rpf (where there was a metric fuckton of fic), because it was post the season 2 episode with Sam being possessed and evil, and Jared Padalecki played it so well that it made me really want to read evil!Jared fic, and no fucker in fandom was writing it. I had no choice but to do it myself!

Right now, I am hankering for space pirates, or mafia fic. In any/all of my fandoms, because there is never enough good mafia fic.
