Bright suns
So yesterday did end up being a lazy day. I listened to a Magnus Archives ep, tithe first one on Daedalus, did some uni reading and then headed down stairs.
Mum had just put rubbish in the garage so I took it out so that we’d not be dealing with it while taking Naryu out. This was good and bad. Good, because it meant I saw the post lady who said she had a box in the van and not to go anywhere. Bad because one of the bags got caught on the door and split. (Or course it was the little one so made a mess, ugh).
The package was the General Grievous figure mum got me for my birthday. He looks nice with a soft cape and unique lightsabers and he can stand pretty well too!
I meant to spend the afternoon reading and writing but I just ended up bundled under my blankie and recharging a bit.
At least I got a fic done yesterday but it’s annoying I’m behind on kinktober. I hope to catch up with it soon. Spook me is due Sunday too which might get delayed. The dreamwidth rules says that’s ok though so I’m not too worried. I’m hoping to write more of it this weekend. I did mean to write some to it this morning but I was cozy and Naryu was snuggling.
I did read a chapter of Black Spire this afternoon but I meant to do more. The first order continues to be insufferable.
Last night I started Outer Worlds since it went live last night. It’s pretty good so far, there’s a lot of customisation and I’m gonna go on it some more this weekend. I got to the first town and I’m already annoyed at the first corporation, which is the point I guess.
It’s two weeks now till I go to Birmingham and I’m still that mix of excited and nervous, which I think won’t go away until we’re together. I just hope I don’t get super drained or have to deal with my mind fucking me over, which is a worry.
This weekend I’m gonna fic, watch Space 1999 and do some gaming too. And watch Adam Lambert on Strictly results.
